Chiang Mai Craft Beer (CMCB) is now supplying high quality craft beer to thirsty Northern Thailand.
The company recently opened and started importing an exceptional line up of quality craft beers, shipped all the way from America, Japan and Norway
This in itself is no easy task.
Craft beer is not pasteurised, so it all natural and loaded with heaps of ‘live’ ingredients.
It has no preservatives added and must be shipped and temperatures maintained at between 1 to 10 degrees celsius.
Plus the active yeast and high vitamin B content make it a healthier drinking option that other beers available in Chiang Mai. So consider it a ‘healthier’ brew if you like, but since we encourage all to ‘fork responsibly’, please also drink responsibly too.
Besides tasting awesome, often craft Pale Ale or other non-lager brews can pack an impressive punch.
Because craft beer alcohol content can range from five to nine percent, the later being higher than most commercial brands currently available in Thailand.
CMCB recently held two well attended craft beer tasting events in Thailand’s northern capital city.
The first at River Market Restaurant followed by another at HOBS (House of Beers) located on Nimmanhaeman Road Soi 12.
A few of the most popular brands included Rogue Dead Guy Ale and Mocha Porter along with the Anderson Valley Pale Ales.
So these are two outlets where you can find CMCB products to start. And expect the number to grow quickly as the craft beer craze sweeps across Chiang Mai,
The company is positioning itself as “a specialised beverage supplier for hotels, resorts, restaurants, cafes and pubs”.
While a bit of a marketing mouthful, Chiang Mai hotels or food and beverage outlets should check out the company’s new products and start adding craft beer to their menus. Happy, thirsty customers will be glad you did.
CMCB might be new to the region, but it’s poised to shake up beer drinking habits of Thais and foreign residents living in Chiang Mai.
Craft beer rules, drink more for health!
